About
Ransom Sutton is an African American and Afro-Caribbean designer who works with a multitude of different mediums. She is currently pursuing her Master's of Arts in product design at the Royal College of Arts. Ransom holds a degree in fine arts with a specialization in painting, as well as a BFA in interior design.
Ransom's fascination with the designed and built world began during her childhood, where she would draw, design, and decorate dollhouses. Her unique style is characterized by vibrant colours, an exploration of her heritage, and maximalist influences through furniture.
Ransom was born and raised in Brooklyn New York, and aspires to showcase her designs around the world.
